Account Deletion Request
At ONANI, we believe you should have total control over your data. If you wish to close your account and remove your personal information, you have two ways to do so:
1. Via the App (Recommended)
Open the ONANI app, navigate to Settings > Account, and select Delete Account. This will instantly initiate the deletion process.
2. Via Web Request
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, please email our support team to request manual deletion.
*Note: Upon deletion, all profile data, search history, and watch lists are permanently removed. Per Zambian statutory requirements, financial records related to PawaPay transactions will be retained for 7 years for audit purposes.
Data Safety Disclosure
We collect only what is necessary to provide a high-quality streaming experience:
- Personal Info: Name and Email for authentication via Google/Apple.
- Financial Info: Subscription status and transaction IDs (processed via PawaPay).
- App Activity: Watch history and search terms to improve your recommendations.
- Diagnostics: Crash logs via Firebase to ensure the app stays stable on devices like the Samsung A16.
App Content
ONANI provides a curated selection of Zambian movies, series, and live TV channels. Our content is licensed and delivered in high definition to ensure the best viewing experience for our users.
Foreground Service Permissions
To provide uninterrupted media playback and background synchronization of your watch history, ONANI utilizes foreground services. This ensures that your stream continues smoothly even if you switch apps or lock your device, and that your progress is always saved.
Privacy Policy
Your data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use your data exclusively to authenticate your identity, process your PawaPay mobile money payments, and deliver content that matches your interests.
